Biography
Welcome to my website! My name is Jason May; I am a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at West Virginia University.
At WVU, I teach introductory physics courses, maintain instructional laboratory spaces, train and support graduate teaching assistants, and organize and develop lecture demonstrations for the department. I also engage in Physics Education Research in collaboration with departmental faculty and colleagues from the University of Utah. My doctorate research focused on the nature of student experimental activity and sensemaking in novel, open-ended physics laboratory settings, such as the University of Utah's IPL2S curriculum. |
